Too many ...The votor turnout was still pretty low. Too many of my friends just could not be bothered. Interestingly, most of the ones who could not be bothered to get out to vote style themselves as small L liberals, more interested in a new D and D campaign than in any level of government. So the result was what we got. <br /><br />(I even had a friend of mine who participated in the G-20 protests, yet did not vote because "its all rigged anyway...so I won't be a part of it". I don't know what to say to a guy like that!) <br /><br />I worked as a Deputy Returning Officer, and encourage anybody who wants to be a part of it to apply to be a D.R.O., a recording clerk, or if you must be partisan, be a scrutineer or a party campaign worker/volunteer. <br /><br />Putting that ballot into the box earns the voter the right to complain about what happened.
