A new blog on Before Taliban

My students in HIST 3805, History of Islamic Civilization, may be interested to know that I have started a new blog in which I will discuss the book Before Taliban with the purpose of helping members of the class choose a fruitful and interesting approach to writing on it. Since this is likely to be a very challenging assignment, I think it only fair to throw out ideas and questions that may help you with your initial planning.
