McClatchy (sometime back known as Knight-Ridder), of all the American-based news services, strikes me as the most interested in news and news analysis. I have long been reading and recommending the blog Inside Iraq, written by McClatchy's Iraqi correspondents; but there are more McClatchy blogs and they seem of comparable quality. Go to McClatchy's home page and find the box called "McClatchy's blogs."
