I greatly prefer those to Portland's statues of a man with an umbrella and a quizzically raised index finger in the central square and the mayor flashing passersby from an unfurled trench coat. English Russia does a fine job of bringing some strange things to light. Did you see the Armenian church or the abandoned 19th century homes?
The ongoing national Flag of Belarus was officially embraced on June 7, 1995, following the consequence of a mandate decided on by the Belarusian nation in the earlier month. This new plan supplanted a verifiable flag utilised by the Belarusian Nation's Republic of 1918, preceding Belarus turned into a Soviet Republic, and again after it recaptured its freedom in 1991.

ReplyDeleteI think I blogged the Armenian church sculptures, but don't remember the other.
ReplyDeleteEnglish Russia is a treasure.
