It's over in Afghanistan
The American "mission" will soon come to its Vietnamesque end, once more showing the futility of military occupation, its inability to do anything but produce atrocity.
Since the day we went into Afghanistan and then Iraq, it has NOT been about the safety or security of the United States. It has been about revenge (for a short time) and George Bush's need to prove his masculinity. Why President Obama hasn't gotten our troops out of Afghanistan sooner is beyond me.

Comparing Afganistan to Vietnam is futile, erroneous, and beneath you.
